A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de fabricação de pára-raios do tipo que compreende as etapas que consistem em: - empilhar varistâncias (10); e, - entre as etapas de empilhamento e de formação do revestimento em material compósito (40) dispor um cordão (30) de material flexível, adesivo e dielétrico, sobre o empilhamento anteriormente formado, diante das diferentes interfaces entre cada par de varistâncias adjacentes (10).
