Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "CÂMARA DE SEPARAÇÃO DE SANGUE COM PASSAGENS DE ESCOAMENTO DE SANGUE PREFORMADAS E CONEXÃO CENTRALIZADA EM TUBULAÇÃO EXTERNA" . Uma câmara de separação de sangue (18) é proporcionada para rotação em torno de um eixo. Em uma implementação, a câmara de separação de sangue (18) compreende uma base (338), que inclui paredes formadas para definir um cubo (120). Um canal de separação (126) se estende em torno do cubo (120). Passagens de escoamento (142, 144, 146) se estendem entre o cubo (120) e o canal de separação (126). O cubo (120) propicia fixação da tubulação externa para transportar sangue para e da câmara de separação (126) pelo cubo (120). Em uma outra implementação, a câmara (18) inclui um canal interno, que inclui um recesso (386), que se estende para fora dos limites das paredes estabelecendo uma zona de separação. O canal interno rebaixado (386) propicia que os rendimentos dos componentes de sangue individuais separados na câmara sejam maximizados sem contaminação cruzada ou contaminação por outros componentes presentes na câmara (18).
