Abstract

"INSTALAÇÃO DE ADAPTADOR DE EIXO E SUPORTE, SUSPENSÃO DE BRAÇO RECUADO, E, PROCESSO PARA A MONTAGEM DE UM EIXO EM UM SUPORTE DE ADAPTADOR DE EIXO". Uma instalação de eixo (12) e suporte de adaptador (30), sozinha, e em combinação com uma suspensão e compreendendo um espaçador ligeiramente compressível (48) entre os dois para um ligeiro ajuste do eixo com respeito ao suporte de eixo após a operação de eixo. De preferência, a instalação de eixo e de suporte de adaptador compreende um suporte de adaptador de eixo tendo uma superfície arqueada (44) suportando o eixo e um eixo soldado ao suporte de eixo ao longo de superfícies longitudinais do suporte de adaptador. Um espaçador ligeiramente compressível é provido entre o suporte de adaptador e o eixo. O espaçador ligeiramente compressível é preferentemente na forma de tiras de fita de espuma de elastômero flexível. Um conector compressível, tal como um parafuso em U (38), pode ser usado para reter compressivamente o eixo no suporte de adaptador de eixo e aplicar uma força compressiva que considera o esforço de tração residual na solda.
