"ESTRUTURA À BASE DE FIBRAS DE COCO". A invenção refere-se a uma estrutura que compreende ao menos 75% em peso de fibras de coco e menos que 25% de um ligante. A estrutura é obtida submetendo-se a mistura a pressão e calor. A estrutura à base de fibras de coco de acordo com a invenção é útil em utilizações por exemplo da construção civil, indústria moveleira, automobilística, tais como painéis estruturais em móveis, paredes, isolamento térmico e acústico, etc., propiciando alta resistência a impacto, boa respirabilidade, baixa inflamabilidade e resistência a ataques de insetos por exemplo cupins.
