Processo para aplicar um ornato sobre um artigo (10), caracterizado pelo fato de comportar as etapas que consistem em: - dispor ao contato de uma face (13; 14) do artigo um suporte (20) revestido de uma tinta sublimável; - aquecer o suporte (20) com o auxílio de meios de aquecimento para provocar a sublimação da tinta e sua transferência sobre o artigo, resfriando a face oposta (13; 14) do artigo com o auxílio de meios de resfriamento (30).
