Compreendendo uma tampa com a parte superior cilíndrica (1) e com prolongamento inferior afilado em forma de pescoço (3) com extremidade (4) em forma de pistão e provida de aletas (5), sendo que a parte superior cilíndrica (1) apresenta uma cavidade circular e afunilada (7) provida de rosca (8) destinada a receber por rosqueamento uma sobre-tampa em forma de batoque (9) afunilado, dotada de flange ou aba saliente (11) e com superfície plana e lisa (12) destinada a receber nomenclaturas identificadoras do material contido no tubo de ensaio.
