Particularmente indicado para o jogo de "frescobol", realizado em dupla de competidores, munidos de raquetes de madeira para o arremesso e rebatidas, dito dispositivo sendo composto por pequena bola ou esfera (1) em espuma de material plástico, revestida com uma fina camada (2) de poliuretano ou equivalente, e ainda dotada de um furo radial (3), preenchido com uma massa (4) de borracha, silicone, ou similar, na qual se prende e se projeta para o exterior um feixe radial de penas (5), dispostas de preferência em orientação helicoidal.
