Abstract
Descreve-se um coletor utilizado para o descarte de materiais perfurocortantes, tais como, agulhas, scalps, cateteres e seringas. O coletor é constituído por um recipiente (1), tendo pelo menos duas alças (5) integradas ao mesmo; uma tampa (14), tendo uma parte projetada (20) e um pescoço (21), e uma sobretampa (15) para fechamento de uma abertura central (24) da tampa, a qual é fixada ao recipiente (1). A tampa (14) é provida de uma pluralidade de lâminas (25), que são fletidas durante do material descartável através da abertura (24) para o interior do recipiente (1).
