Trata-se de uma máquina de extrair suco de laranjas, onde por mecanismo de braços de manivela (14) e bielas (17), aciona alternativamente um cavalete (21), onde predem-se taças (27), que expremem as metades das laranjas, cortadas contra a navalha (45) e apoiados sobre uma mesa de elastômero (48), contra as projeções troncônicas (58). As laranjas são bipartidas pela ação do braço alimentador (34) que a pressiona contra a navalha (45).
