Hidrogênio é produzido por reforma de vapor de um hidrocarboneto em um reformador aquecido a gás que é aquecido usando uma ou mais correntes compreendendo produtos de queima de um combustível em um oxidante, preferivelmente na presença de uma corrente de circulação de dióxido de carbono.
