DISPOSITIVO DE MEMÓRIA TRIDIMENSIONAL E MÉTODO PARA FORMAR UM DISPOSITIVO DE MEMÓRIA TRIDIMENSIONAL.As concretizações de dispositivos de memória 3D com um plugue semicondutor protegido por uma camada dielétrica e métodos para formar a mesma são descritos. Em um exemplo, um dispositivo de memória 3D inclui um substrato, uma pilha de memória incluindo uma pluralidade de camadas condutoras intercaladas e camadas dielétricas no substrato e uma cadeia de memória se estendendo verticalmente através da pilha de memória. A cadeia de memória inclui um plugue semicondutor em uma porção inferior da cadeia de memória, uma camada dielétrica protetora no plugue semicondutor e um filme de memória acima da camada dielétrica protetora e ao longo de uma parede lateral da cadeia de memória.
