Abstract
Um liofilizador processa um material bruto incluindo um líquido, e produz um produto que inclui o material liofilizado carregado em um substrato. O material é introduzido em uma câmara de congelamento como um fluxo de gotas que colide no substrato. O líquido no material é congelado após entrar em contato com o substrato. O substrato que carrega o material é transferido através de uma trava de vácuo para uma câmara de secagem a vácuo, onde o líquido congelado sublima sob vácuo e calor aplicado.
