Abstract
Um elemento filtrante com uma estrutura de montagem melhorada e método de montagem são proporcionados. O elemento filtrante inclui uma embalagem de meios filtrantes com uma estrutura de montagem ligada à periferia externa da embalagem de meios filtrantes. A estrutura de montagem define um canal que retém um material de fechamento para evitar o vazamento de um adesivo que fixa a estrutura de montagem à embalagem de meios filtrantes. Um elemento filtrante que inclui um material polimérico entre a embalagem de meios filtrantes e o adesivo também é proporcionado. O material de fechamento pode ser pré-formado ou aplicado em um estado fluido.
