Abstract
Um processo é descrito para metalização de uma superfície polimérica de um artigo. O processo compreende a aplicação na superfície polimérica de um transportador de líquido contendo uma suspensão de partículas de metal ou semelhante a metal. A superfície polimérica e o transportador de líquido são tais que o ângulo de umedecimento entre o transportador de líquido e a superfície polimérica é substancialmente de 90° ou acima, e as partículas e a superfície polimérica são tais que as partículas têm uma maior afinidade para a superfície polimérica do que para um ao outro ou ao líquido, de modo que as partículas suspensas no líquido migram para a interface entre o líquido e a superfície polimérica para formar um revestimento de monocamada de partículas sobre a superfície polimérica.
