Abstract
DISPOSITIVOS DE VEDAÃÃO PARA FILTROS. Um elemento de filtro tendo uma tampa extrema é dotado de uma vedação que pode acomodar melhor furos não redondos. A vedação pode ser uma vedação tipo chevron e/ou outra vedação similar tendo um flange de vedação para formar uma vedação radial. Os métodos de substituir um filtro tendo uma gaxeta de anel-O para melhorar após vedação são fornecidos bem como sistemas de filtração empregando o elemento de filtro.
