Abstract
MÉTODOS E DISPOSITIVOS PARA ATIVAR O TECIDO ADIPOSO MARROM USANDO ENERGIA ELÉTRICA. Trat-ase de métodos e dispositivos que são fornecidos para ativar o tecido adiposo marrom (BAT). Geralmente, os métodos e os dispositivos podem ativar o BAT para aumentar a termogênese, por exemplo, aumentar a produção de calor no paciente, que, com o tempo, pode levar a uam perda de peso. Em uma modalidade, um dispositivo médico é fornecido que ativa o BAT ao estimular eletricamente os nervos que ativam o BAT e/ou estimular eletricamente os adipócitos marrons diretamente, desse modo, aumentando a termog~enese no BAT e induzindo à perda de peso através do gasto de energia.
