COMPOSIÇÕES À BASE DE AZADIRACTINA PARA USO EM CONTROLE DE PRAGAS. O presente pedido de registro de patente de invenção (PI) refere-se à COMPOSIÇÕES À BASE DE AZADIRACTINA PARA O CONTROLE DE PRAGAS mais particularmente a composições biopesticidas empregadas como iscas para controle de formigas-cortadeiras. A isca de azadiractina ocasiona a morte das colônias de insetos, especialmente as de formigas-cortadeiras, ao promover redução no consumo foliar e mortalidade das operárias. Além disso, esse composto se mostra eficiente no controle das formigas-cortadeiras em campo, principalmente no gênero Acromyrmex, apresentando resultados semelhantes aos apresentados pelas iscas comerciais à base de sulfluramida.
