Abstract
CEPAS DE LEVEDURA EXIBINDO PERSISTÊNCIA PROLONGADA DURANTE UMA PLURALIDADE DE CICLOS DE FERMENTAÇÃO.A presente invenção fornece leveduras, que podem ser células hospedeiras de levedura recombinante, exibindo persistência prolongada quando submetidas a uma pluralidade de ciclos de fermentação. As leveduras exibem, pelo menos, uma das seguintes características fenotípicas: um fenótipo de rápida decantação, um fenótipo rugoso, uma atividade de invertase aperfeiçoada, triploidia, sinalização aumentada em uma via RAS/cAMP/PKA ou combinações dos mesmos.
