LEVEDURA, PLASMÍDEO E ENZIMA RECOMBINANTES PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE AMILASE, PROCESSO DE OBTENÇÃO DA ENZIMA E USOS. A presente invenção refere-se a construção e obtenção de uma enzima recombinante especialmente engenheirada biotecnologicamente para ser utilizada para fins laboratoriais, clínicos e industriais. Trata-se de uma amilase da levedura Cryptococcus flavus expressa em células da levedura Pichia pastoris (Komagataella phaffii). Essa enzima recombinante pode ser utilizada em campos de aplicação da biotecnologia, como por exemplo, aplicações industriais baseadas em amido, em particular àquelas voltadas para a produção de glicose, como indústrias alimentícias, farmacêuticas e cervejeiras.
