Mais especificamente, a presente invenção refere-se a um kit que consiste em A- um meio sólido cromogênico para triagem e isolamento dos bacilos Gram negativos resistentes à polimixinas, por meio da incorporação do fármaco em uma concentração limite para detectar a susceptibilidade do isolado e em associação a outras drogas capazes de inibir a microbiota acompanhante. E B- Uma placa de microtitulação que permite detectar em forma precisa a concentração inibitória mínima (CIM) das polimixinas para a bactéria em estudo.
