Omaterial polimérico tem uma condutividade elétrica em umintervalo entre 1x10-14 e 4,7x106 (S/m) a 20ºC. Um contatoelétrico é acoplado eletricamente com o conjunto de conduítepara receber corrente elétrica. Um terra é acopladoeletricamente com o conjunto condutor para aterrar a correnteelétrica passada através do conjunto de conduíte.
