About the company
Who is Seara
In 1937, the history of the brands that Seara carries today made its first filing with INPI. Before the Seara name, Swift's processed meats, in 1949, and Anglo's, in 1951, were already on the shelves. When the Seara trademark application arrived in 1958, chicken and pork gained another cherished address: the family dinner table.
In the years that followed came Primor, in 1960; Rezende, in 1977; Friboi, in 1994; Delícia and Braswey, in 1997. Supermarket shelves became fuller, and everyday life came to include Seara chicken and Friboi beef cuts. The JBS trademark, filed in 2004, gave a name to this coming together of traditions.
Seara Nature arrived in 2018, and in 2021 the company filed more trademarks in a single year than in any other year in its history. At Sunday lunch, in the snack-time sandwich, and in the supermarket rush, these labels continue in Brazilian life like old acquaintances.
