Estrela

This is a story of toys that grew up with the Brazilian people. Estrela was already a familiar presence in backyards and shop windows when, in 1951, it registered its name. From then on, the brand began to accompany the boxes, the gift wrappings, and the family fun nights. It was in everyday life that it became established: on the racetracks, with the dolls, and in the games played at the table.

In 1990, the year of greatest brand activity, new names entered the children's universe. Estrela Baby had been presenting itself to babies since 1989; Beto arrived in 1998; Hora de Papá in 2000; Manequinho in 2001; Autorama and Belinha in 2002; Hora de Naná and Jogo do Tubarão in 2003; and Condor in 2006. Each one found a place: Autorama on the living room floor, Jogo do Tubarão on the table, the dolls and small toys on the bed or in the stroller.

Over time, Estrela's brands became part of leisure hours: they appeared on the supermarket list, in the neighborhood store window, on TV, and at children's birthday parties. They were not decorations; they were invitations to play together.
