Mark description

The mark consists of the word "SOUTHERN" in all capital letters and the letters are blue. Directly below and centered underneath the word "SOUTHERN" is the word "CAREERS" in all capital letters and the letters are blue. The words "SOUTHERN" and "CAREERS" are in the same font size. The letter "A" in "CAREERS" is replaced with a stylized drawing of a fivepointed star. The drawn lines of the star are red and the inside of the star is not filled in with color. The line drawn to create the star begins between the bottom two points of the star and inline with the letters in the word "CAREERS". The line ends before reaching the "R" in the word "CAREERS" and does not connect to create the fifth point of the star. Directly under the letters "REERS" in the "CAREERS" is the word "INSTITUTE" in a smaller font-size, all capital letters, and in red. The "I" in the word "INSTITUTE" begins immediately after the bottom, right point of the star. The color white is not claimed as a feature of the mark and merely serves as background.
