Mark description

The mark consists of the phrase "CCC News.com" in large green letters, positioned over another phrase, "Columbia Community Connection", in smaller blue letters. Immediately to the left of the two phrases is a rainbow which starts parallel to the horizontal plane marking the bottom boundary of the mark and arches to the right, ending adjacent to and parallel to the vertical plane marking the left side of the phrase part of the mark. The bands of the rainbow, starting with the innermost band are the following: a thin band of blue, followed by a very thin band of white, followed by a thicker band of blue overlapped with eighteen white hearts of varying sizes, followed by a very thin band of white, followed by a thick band of blue which has an outer border made of a series of semi-circles, each containing a small solid blue circle at the center of the semi-circle, followed by a very thin band of white, followed by a thin green band, followed by a very thin band of white, followed by thick green band, which contains seventy-two small white oblong shapes of varying size.
