Mark description

The mark consists of a black outlined shield that says BALTIMORE CITY on top in black stylized font with a yellow background and a black curved line below. On the bottom of the shield appears the stylized black terms FIRE SERVICE with a yellow background and a black curved line above the terms. In the center of the shield appears a red cross with orange outlining and an orange circle in the center. Within the orange circle appears the flag of Baltimore with the monument seen on the Baltimore flag in the center. The monument appears in white with black detailing and outlining. On the right part of the cross is a orange fire hydrant with black detailing and a black line representing a hose. The top of the cross contains a blue medical star with white outlining and with a black and white caduceus in the center of the star. The bottom of the cross contains the black stylized numbers 1797. Below the terms BALTIMORE CITY and above the cross appears the stylized black text "PRIDE PROTECTING PEOPLE". The rest of the white in the background including the background of the shield represents background, outlining, shading, and/or transparentarea and is not part of the mark.
