Mark description

The mark consists of a circle with the words "MAESE MIGUEL" and "MANCHEGO" written in white around the circumference with background in black. Within the circle and in its upper part, with red background, is "MANCHEGO D.O. CHEESE" in white. There is a representation of a mill also in white between the wording "D.O". and "CHEESE". In the center of the circle it is a portrait of a man in old-fashioned dress, with light pink skin, black hair and eyes, a grey beard and mustache, and a white frilly collar, all set over a black background.
