Mark description

The mark consists of a logo in the shape of shield superimposed over the image of a basket within a half circle. The shield has a blue border, with the words "NAVAJO TRIBAL UTILITY AUTHORITY" in blue across the top, the words "UTILITIES FOR THE" in blue along the left side and the words "NAVAJO NATION" in blue across the right side, all of the foregoing wording on a white background, with the letters "NT" juxtaposed immediately above the letters "UA" in the middle of the shield and all four such letters within a circle-shaped white background, with the letters "N" and "A" in blue and the letters "T" and "U" in red, and the white circle superimposed over a blue background, and one small red circle above the word "UTILITIES" and another small red circle above the word "NATION". The half-circle below the shield has a brown basket with black lining in which two black and white feathers rise out of the left side of the basket and a bundle of brown grass with a red tie rises out of the basket to the right, with the outside of the basket having a design consisting of five black geometric shapes all of which are bisected by two red lines, and in the background behind the basket are representations of mountains in black, with blue sky above the mountains and purple below the mountains, and a yellow background below the basket, with a black line having a staircase shape appearing at the bottom of such yellow background, and with four representations of purple colored mountains with white, blue, yellow and black peaks below such black line, and with a line of blue, white and red colors outlined in black below such four purple mountains and with the upper semi-circle arch of the half circle having a pattern in red, white and black colors.
