Patente de Invenção: "PROTEÍNAS DE SUPERFÍCIE EXTERIOR, SEUS GENES E SEU USO". De acordo com a presente invenção, uma série de genes é identificada em Streptococcus do Grupo B, os produtos dos quais podem estar localizados na superfície exterior do organismo. Os genes, ou fragmentos funcionais dos mesmos, podem ser úteis na preparação de agentes terapêuticos, por exemplo, vacinas para a imunização de um paciente contra a infecção microbiana.
