A presente invenção diz respeito a um cabo, particularmente, para monitoração e/ou controle de poços de petróleo/gás, compreendendo um tubo protetor (6; 16) de metal, material sintético reforçado, ou similares, o dito tubo protetor circundando, pelo menos, um tubo de fibra (3; 13), o dito tubo de fibra contendo, pelo menos, uma fibra óptica (4, 14), em que o cabo compreende órgãos para exaurir o cabo.
