Um inflamador de air bags incluindo um material espumoso e um conjunto de air bags contendo os mesmos são aqui descritos. O material espumado é formado a partir de uma composição incluindo como ingredientes, um isocianato polifuncional, um aglutinante polimérico tendo uma pluralidade de grupos hidroxila os quais são reativos com o isocianato polifuncional, uma fonte de combustível, um oxidador e um agente espumante o qual pode ou não ser retido no material espumoso.
