A presente invenção se refere a um processo para conversão enantio-seletiva medida por biocatalisador de misturas enantioméricas de ésteres hidrófobos usando um sistema de solvente bifásico. Mais especificamente, a presente invenção se refere à síntese enantio-seletiva mediada por enzima de compostos antiviróticos, tais como, 2-hidroxímetil-5-(5-fluorcitosin-l-il)-1,3-oxatiolano (FTC) e seus análogos, em um sistema de reação heterogêneo.
