Abstract
"MATERIAL CELULAR, PROCESSOS PARA PREPARAR UM MATERIAL CELULAR, E PARA SELETIVAMENTE PREPARAR MATERIAIS CELULARES DE VARIADAS PROPRIEDADES FÍSICAS, PLÁSTICO CELULAR DE POLIURETANO, MATERIAL DE ESPUMA PLÁSTICA CELULAR, E, ELASTÔMERO PLÁSTICO SÓLIDO". Um material celular aperfeiçoado compreende uma espuma de uretano que é o produto de reação do óleo de soja, um isocianato e um reticulador. O óleo de soja substitui o poliol típica e geralmente requerido na produção de uretanos. Por ser o poliol substituído um petroquímico, o uso de um material ambientalmente conveniente, tal como o óleo de soja, é mais vantajoso. Além disso, os materiais plásticos de muitas qualidades finais podem ser formados usando-se um único óleo vegetal. Além de espumas celulares, elastômeros plásticos sólidos podem ser formados.
