Abstract
"LENTE DE CONTATO", que reduz distorção da capacidade e lente de contato com a superfície corneal resultante da flexibilidade da lente. A lente de contato (10) é projetada para incluir uma porção óptica central, uma borda de esclerótica (90), e uma porção de transição (34) entre as mesmas, que se sobrepõe à córnea, a superfície posterior da qual sendo conformada à geometria local da porção subposta da córnea, incluindo inclinação e distorção corneais. Em uma configuração alternativa representando uma lente de menos custo, a porção de transição é projetada para se conformar a uma córnea estatisticamente média. A porção óptica central pode ter uma superfície posterior customizada, tórica ou esférica, dependendo de qual lente flexível, customizada ou de baixo custo, estiver sendo projetada.
