Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UM FIO DENTAL TEXTURIZADO". O fio dental consiste de um fio texturizado que foi revestido e impregnado com um polímero solúvel em água e o revestimento de polímero solúvel em água curado e endurecido enquanto o fio é estirado e está sob tensão. O fio, enquanto estirado e tensionado, está em uma reduzida largura, que permite sua inserção mais fácil entre os dentes. O fio dental é enrolado em um carretel na condição de largura decrescente. Para uso, um comprimento do fio é removido do carretel e colocado entre os dentes. A saliva da boca dissolve o polímero solúvel em água curado e endurecido, com o fio expandindo-se para encher o espaço entre os dentes. O fio é opcionalmente revestidos com aromatizantes, medicamentos e outras substâncias. Estas podem ser substâncias sintéticas ou naturalmente ocorrentes, tais como substâncias herbáceas.
