É caracterizada uma preparação contendo no mínimo uma substância ativa tendo uma influência sobre os níveis sangüíneos de lipídeos de um organismo em que está presente sob a forma de um emplastro terapêutico transdérmico contendo a substância ativa em uma camada de matriz auto-aderente a qual pode ser coberta no lado oposto à pele com uma camada de revestimento posterior impermeável à substância ativa.
