Abstract
"BACULOVIRUS RECOMBINANTE, INSETICIDAS DE BACULOVIRUS RECOMBINANTE, VETOR DE LIGAÇÃO DIRETA E MÉTODO PARA MATAR INSETOS". A presente invenção provê um baculovirus recombinante isolado de Plutella xylostella para uso como agente inseticida. Preferivelmente, um baculovirus recombinante de acordo com a invenção tem incorporado dentro de seu genoma um gene codificando uma toxina inseticida. A invenção provê também composições inseticidas e formulações compreendendo baculoviroses recombinantes de Plutella xylostella e métodos para matar insetos e para reduzir a infestação de insetos em colheitas.
