Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "COMPOSIÇÃO ADJUVANTE E MÉTODOS PARA SEU USO" . Uma composição adjuvante a qual é uma emulsão de óleo-em-água estável compreendendo um óleo metabolizável, um ou mais tensoativos, um antioxidante e um componente para fazer dita emulsão isotônica é descrita e reivindicada. A emulsão estável tem um equilíbrio hidrófobolipofílico (HLB) de aproximadamente 7,5 a cerca de 10,5 e um tamanho de partícula de menos de que 3 µm. Em uma modalidade preferida a emulsão estável compreende aproximadamente 10% volume por volume de esqualeno, 0,09% peso por volume de copolímero de bloco PLURONIC F-68, 1,9% peso por volume de colina fosfatidil de ovo, 1,75% volume a volume de glicerol e 0,05% peso a volume de tocoferol. A emulsão preferida tem um HLB de 8,0 e tamanho de partícula de aproximadamente 0,2 µm. Em uma modalidade particular, a emulsão estável é combinada com um derivado de lipídio A atenuado tal como lipídio A monofosforil ou lipídio A monofosforil 3-desacilado para acentuar a adjuvanticidade da composição.
