Patente de Invenção: "COMPOSIÇÕES DE POLIURETANO NÃO ELASTOMÉRICO" . A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de poliuretano não elastomérico, que inclui um prolongador de cadeia da fórmula geral (1) na qual R~ 1~, R~ 2~, R~ 3~, R~ 4~, R~ 5~ e R~ 6~ são os mesmos ou diferentes e selecionados a partir de um radical hidrocarboneto opcionalmente substituído de cadeia linear, ramificada ou cíclica, saturado ou não saturado; R~ 7~ é um grupo de ligação divalente ou um radical hidrocarboneto opcionalmente substituído de cadeia linear, ramificada ou cíclica, saturado ou não saturado e n é 0 ou maior. A composição de poliuretano não elastomérico tem propriedades mecânicas aperfeiçoadas, clareza e/ou resistência a degradação e pode ser usado para a produção de dispositivos médicos, artigos ou implantes.
