Patente de Invenção: "SEQÜÊNCIAS REGULADORAS DE FATOR-9 DE DIFERENCIAÇÃO DE CRESCIMENTO E USOS DAS MESMAS". São reveladas seqüências reguladoras GDF-9 isoladas, bem como processos para utilização das seqüências para modular a expressão específica de tecido dos genes. As seqüências reguladoras GDF-9 incluem, por exemplo, elementos melhoradores e promotores que naturalmente direcionam a transcrição do GDF-9 nos tecidos específicos. As seqüências GDF-9 reguladoras podem ser derivadas de regiões a montante e a jusante não-transcritas (por exemplo, primeiras 10 quilobases) e regiões transcritas e não-traduzidas de um gene GDF-9.
