Abstract
SISTEMA DE AIRBAG EM CORTINA LATERAL Um airbag em cortina lateral se estende de um suporte-A (30) através de um suporte -B (32) e é preso próximo a um suporte-C (34) de um veículo. Quando inflado o airbag é de altura suficiente para se estender da proximidade de um peitoril de teto (38) do veículo para pelo menos a boda inferior de uma janela lateral do veículo. O airbag inflado é posicionado entre o ocupante do veículo e uma porção lateral do veículo. Um sistema de módulo do airbag em cortina lateral inclui ainda um tubo (70) flexível apresentando uma pluralidade de aberturas ao longo de seu comprimento para a distribuição do gás de inflação junto ao airbag.
