Abstract

"SISTEMA E APARELHO PARA REVESTIR INTERNAMENTE UMA JUNTA OU OUTRA DESCONTNUIDADE EM UMA TUBULAÇÃO DE GÁS VIVO". Juntas ou outras descontinuidades em tubulações de gás ou gasodutos são vedadas por aspersão da junta ou descontinuidade com um material de revestimento por meio de um dispositivo de revestimento resistente a explosão (10), capaz de atravessar grandes extensões de tubo (14). O dispositivo de revestimento é inserido no tubo e usa uma câmera resistente a explosão (44) para localizar juntas ou outras descontinuidades no tubo. O material de revestimento preferido é poliuretano elastomérico tipo epóxi de construção superior (48) que se cura rapidamente na presença do gás pressurizado em escoamento. Diversas juntas ou descontinuidades, cobrindo várias centenas de metros de tubo, podem ser revestidas usando uma única escavação.
