Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA DETECTAR A CONTAMINAÇÃO FECAL E INGESTA EM CARCAÇAS DE ANIMAIS DE CARNE" Trata-se de um método e aparelho para detectar contaminação por ingesta ou material fecal na carcaça de um animal, usando espectrocopia fluorescente. A superfície da carcaça é iluminada com uma emissão de luz ultravioleta tendo um comprimento de onda de cerca de 660 a 680 nm quando é detectada. A emissão da luz fluorescente tendo um comprimento de onda de cerca de 660 a 680 nm é uma indicação da presença de ingesta ou material fecal na carcaça. A figura é um espectro de ingesta e excrementos de diferentes animais que consomem plantas, com uma luz de 430 nm.
