O difusor de substância volátil (102) possui um corpo (104) que apresenta pelo menos uma abertura (111), e um reservatório (120) de um produto que compreende uma substância volátil, o reservatório (120) sendo montado móvel no corpo (104) entre uma posição de difusão que permite que um gás circule através do produto, e depois na abertura (111) e uma posição fechada na qual o produto é isolado da abertura (111), o reservatório e o corpo apresentando faces respectivas (122, 116) que se estendem em frente uma da outra. Uma das faces (122) é esférica.
