Abstract
"POLÍMEROS INIBIDORES DE LIPASE E SEU USO". A presente invenção descreve um método para tratar obesidade num paciente administrando-se ao paciente um polímero que tenha sido substituído com um ou mais grupos que inibem lipases, que são enzimas responsáveis pela hidrólise de gordura. A invenção refere-se ainda aos polímeros empregados nos métodos descritos na presente patente, bem como a intermediários e métodos novos para preparação dos polímeros.
