Abstract
REVESTIMENTOS OU ADESIVOS EM PÓ EMPREGANDO SILANOS OU CARGAS TRATADAS COM SILANO As formulações de adesivos ou revestimentos em pó incluem, como um componente das mesmas, um silano da fórmula (I) ou hidrolisados ou condensados da mesma, onde R^ 1^ é um grupo de hidrocarboneto, acila, alquilsilila ou alcoxisilila; R^ 2^ é um grupo de hidrocarboneto monovalente; R^ 3^ é alquileno, opcionalmente interrompido com um ou mais átomos de oxigênio éter; a é 0 ou 1; Z é uma ligação direta ou um grupo de ligação orgânica divalente; X é um grupo orgânico m-valente ou H; e m é 1-20. Os silanos são úteis como reticuladores, modificadores de propriedade e/ou promotores de adesão. Similarmente, os adesivos em pó podem ser formados com os silanos da fórmula (I). Cargas ou pigmentos, como as cargas de dióxido de titânio, tratados com silanos, especialmente os silanos que apresentam uma funcionalidade de alquila, acrila, metacrila, poliéter, amino, anidrido ácido, hidroxialquila, carbamato ou ureído, também podem ser empregados de forma útil em formulações de revestimento em pó.
