A invenção refere-se a um dispositivo e a um processo em engrenagens de várias marchas com pelo menos um eixo de mudança, o qual é solicitável em cada posição predeterminada com pelo menos um elemento de fixação para a fixação do eixo de mudança, onde o elemento de fixação (3) está ligado de forma ativa com um elemento de manobra (4) de tal modo, que o elemento de manobra (4) é ajustável, com auxílio de uma instalação de comando (17), em pelo menos duas posições distintas com relação ao elemento de fixação (3).
