"MÉTODO PARA EXTINÇÃO DE INCÊNDIOS MEDIANTE O EMPREGO DE ARGILA EXPANDIDA", sendo que o presente método compreende o emprego de um agente sólido como meio abafador do foco de incêndio, sendo o referido meio sólido representado por argila do tipo expandido; a argila expandida em questão apresenta características positivas tais como a sua resistência a altas temperaturas, fácil transporte, fácil configuração quanto ao seu formato, densidade e granulometria; a argila expandida pode ser utilizada isoladamente ou em conjunto com um adequado volume de água através do emprego de mangueiras.
