A presente invenção refere-se a composições detergentes de lavanderia e/ou de proteção do tecido que compreendem uma transferase, preferivelmente uma transferase alcalina, nas quais a dita transferase é uma xiloglicano transferase, a dita xiloglicano transferase exibe uma atividade de transferase maior do que a atividade hidrolítica e/ou exibe taxas de reação superiores em relação a substratos doadores com pesos moleculares superiores do que relação a substratos doadores com pesos moleculares menores.
