A presente invenção se refere a uma máquina elétrica rotativa para conexão direta à redes de alta voltagem, em que o circuito magnético adaptado para alta voltagem, compreende um rotor, um estator e enrolamentos principal e auxiliar em relacionamento operativo. Pelo menos um dos enrolamentos é um condutor envolvido por um sistema de isolamento de limitação de campo, magneticamente permeável.
